AveComics: For what reason do you create this site? For what purpose? Since when does it exist?
Jay from Comic Book And Movie Review: I developed http://www.comicbookandmoviereviews.com/ at the end of 2010 – mainly because I am a web developer who wanted to share my love for comic books and movies. I find that this type of exercise helps you refine your own interpersonal skills, as well as channel your passion in a more proactive and personal way.
AveComics: Do you have a funny story to tell that happened to you with your blog?
Jay from CBAMR: I was once contacted by a seller of fetish-ware, who wanted me to promote a Superman jock strap he was selling. I only turned down this offer as he was not going to give me a freebie.
AveComics: What do you think about digital comics compared to comic paper?
Jay from CBAMR: Digital comics are the way of the future for this form of publication. Like DVD’s were first frowned at back in the day, so to are digital comics now. But given time I am sure that there will be a big marketplace for them. At the moment though, I only buy digital sparingly, as it helps save cupboard space.
AveComics: Is there any aspect of your site that you would like especially highlighted?
Jay from CBAMR: Not really – except that I am a bit of a buffoon when I write, and that I love comics, movies, and my jokes section. |
